Fishing Trip in Florida

The Company where I work and one of our Suppliers took us down to Fort Lauderdale, FL for a fishing trip. We fished two days and had a great time. Our Company Owner here had just landed this hammer head shark 6'-3" about 175lbs. I was able to reel in this big king fish about 50" long. The First Mate with me here said that it would be hard to catch a bigger one in those waters.

When our boat got back into the dock they hung up our catch of that day minus the hammer head which is going to be mounted. We learned that most boats didn't have any catch for that day.

This hammer head was caught on day two and topped the other one by about a foot and maybe 50lbs. The two men to the right landed this one, both are named John.

Here's the Sportsmen on the boat. Below is a picture of the reels we used.

This was the Hotel we stayed in.

We went out to the Everglades and took a tour on a air boat.

Most of South Florida gets their drinking water out of here. We saw some alligators and one crock
