Mountain Trip

Second week in December, Deb and I went to

Pigeon Forge, TN. We were able to see the Miracle Theatre Show and had breakfast the next morning with the Blackwood Brothers at Black Bear Theatre. This is a picture of our room and a picture of Deb and I at one of the shows.

On our way out Katie, Randy and Rody met us at the Bass Pro Shop. Rody saw Santa and had his picture taken. Here's a picture of Randolph Jr., Randolph III and Randolph IV.

We had lunch at the Cracker Barrell.
Here's Rody in one of the Rockers.

Rody and Santa. It was so funny, Rody just laid back and looked at Santa with one of his looks.

Family Get Together for Thanksgiving

Well our family is getting larger and larger. Some folks had already left by the time we took pictures and some folks (Randy, Katie and Rody) were not able to attend. It was good to see everyone and Mickey's son (Mickey Joe) and his wife were able to be with us. Mickey Joe has been sick and had just gotten out of the hospital this past week. I would like for everyone to remember Mickey Joe in your prayers when you talk to our Father. God is so good and his mercy is so wonderful. Also, remember others in the family, because we all need and want prayer.

Halloween in Cleveland

Deb and I went up to stay with Randy, Katie and Rody for Halloween. We had a great time! We all dressed up and went downtown Halloween night to a block party downtown Cleveland. People were so funny. Here's a picture of Deb and I.

We took Rody to the grocery store dressed in this outfit that Katie's mother had gotten him. He was so cute! It took us extra time in the store because of all the people coming up to him. Everyone just loved him.

This was Rody's Halloween night outfit Deb had gotten for him. He looked great.

Here is Katie feeding Rody breakfast. Katie and Randy both are so good with Rody, he is fortunate to have such parents. Just look at him, such a big boy and such a good boy.

Debbie's Scarecrows

Debbie asked me if I could do something with her scarecrows, so I got 3 bundles of straw and set up this display for her. She loved it and was pleased.

More From Dollywood

Here are some more pictures of our trip to Dollywood's national gospel and harvest celebration. We were able to see "The Booth Brothers", who were very good. Our visit covered days Saturday thru Tuesday. The picture below shows a man making biscuits on the back end of an original chuck wagon that would travel with the cattle drives. They were cooking these biscuits in a dutch oven with coals underneath and coals on top of the oven. I had never seen anything like this. The biscuits were golden brown on top and bottom and were very good.

I took this picture of Debbie outside of Dolly's bus. We took the tour of this bus, which has been retired for now and Dolly has a newer one that she travels on. This bus was very nice, they said it has about 600,000 miles on it. We took some pictures inside.

This is her bedroom, her mother and daddy's picture is to the left, then her grandparents, with Dolly and some other family members on the right. Below is her dressing vanity and the yellow dress she wore during a recent concert.

Harold Jr's Birthday Party

Our Sister-in-law Connie had a surprise birthday party for her Husband (and Debbie's Brother) Harold Jr. I think he was really surprised! It was a great party and I think everyone had a good time. Here are some pictures from the party.
